Sugar is a very cute and sweet little pony. Again adopted from Second Wind Adoptions (
http://www.crossedsabers.com/ ), she arrived at Pony Pastures in July 2009. Now she is a popular lesson pony, and best friends with Figment. Sugar is a slower pony and prefers to stay on the flat, which is great for small kids and beginners to gain confidence.
Selena's Secret ( Kalypsō )
3 year old Thoroughbred Filly
The newest addition to our horsey herd, this beautiful dapple-grey filly shows great promise as a hunter/jumper show prospect. We got her through the CANTER Mid-Atlantic organization (
http://www.canterusa.org/midatlantic/index.htm), which specializes in re-homing ex-reacehorses.
Boe - our new Beagle puppy
Born May 2009
Boe is a very cute puppy but he is also extremely naughty. He loves to eat poo and grain off the barn floor. He loves attention and especially likes people who play with him while their children or brothers and sisters are taking a riding lesson. Sometimes he tries to climb into people's cars and once went on an hour long ride with the farmer in his truck without anyone knowing where he was.

Carpe Diem (Caesar)
Caesar is a horse boarded with Pony Pastures LLC. Owned by Kelly Wengerd, Caesar arrived in December 2009 and fitted in with our gelding herd. He is an easy-going horse who loves to jump.

Wolkentyme (Tye)
7 year old Hanovarian Gelding
Tye has been with us since summer 2009. Adopted by Paula Jagemann from Second Winds Adoptions (http://www.crossedsabers.com/ ), Tye has become a great horse for all ages to ride, he loves attention, especially from children. He is a registered Hanovarian. Tye has been learning to jump and will be attending some shows in the spring and summer of 2010.

Gary The Groundhog
Groundhog/Woodchuck (Marmota monax)

Gary is a fixture at the farm, as famous and well-loved as any of the horses. He lives under the barn and is sometimes seen in the summertime running around between the buildings and tree line behind the riding arena. It is unknown how old he is, but he was here in 2005 when we opened the business so we let him stay and live his life. He is cute and reclusive so you are very lucky if you see him.
