Jewel has a beautiful personality and can't wait to please. She's has proven herself to be very athletic by running around the field and doing lead changes every other stride. We know that she will make a beautiful show horse some day. She has had a great deal of training in hand and under saddle, she can now walk, trot and canter both ways and handle small jumps. Jewel is very calm and is very easy going. Even our teenage volunteers can ride her. This mare has had a lot of time put into her training so far and it really has made her a confident show prospect. She's young, but very gentle and the most willing horse i've ever owned. I bought her to be my next 'A' curcuit horse, but realized I just don't have the time to do the 'A' shows right now.
She has a long stride and will be 16.2hh when she is finished growing (both of her parents were 16.2hh and she has the bone structure to be big). She already uses a 52" girth. She's a brave horse and can be led or ridden over tarps and around spooky objects. Not a lot bothers her. She has jumped in the ring and has great form.
She will be able to do hunters, jumpers, or eventing. She's going to have no problem with the lines or spooking. She also has a natural lead change. The biggest thing about her is that she's really well balanced and sweet. She sticks her nose out when you groom her and eats popsicles and you can lie down in the stall next to her.
Her price is $15,000 now, but will increase with training.
